Some good events worth attending as move bang into the Summer period.
The Entrepreneurs Board is a new product from the Academy for Chief Executives, which is all about helping business leaders keep at the forefront of both business and leadership skills in order to ensure both they and their businesses are performing at their best. The Academy has been in existence for over 13 years and is helping over 400 business leaders in the UK, and now US as well, to do this.
Members of the Entrepreneurs Board will meet for half a day per month, with like-minded leaders from non-competing businesses, to discuss whatever issues they have in their businesses at “The Board you could never afford ®”. The sessions will be chaired by myself, a seasoned facilitator with over 2 years experience of running a Chief Executive group within the Academy. There is more information about the process in the attached pdf.
The cost of membership is £300 + VAT per month, and the group will grow to 10-12 people.
Taster sessions on the 8th and 16th of July, from 08:00 – 10:30 at:
The Leonard Hotel (Portman Room)
15 Seymour Street
London, W1H 7JW
Great speakers lined up for each of these:
Mike Southon (8th July)
“Sales on a Beermat: How to double your sales”
Mike’s presentation explains the simple steps any company can take to double their sales immediately without spending money on expensive marketing campaigns. It also shows how everyone, especially non-salespeople can be involved in the sales process without feeling sleazy or uncomfortable.
Sales on a Beermat is packed with practical tips and real life examples from Mike’s many years as a highly successful salesman, all delivered with energy, style and humour.
Nigel Risner (16th July)
“Creating IMPACT As A Leader”
Gone are the days when a leader only had to worry about balancing the books. Today's most successful leaders know that winning means leading hearts as well minds – the figures will follow if the 'family' is strong. Enabling an organisation to breathe as a single unit and function in the face of risk and an increasingly volatile business environment demands a radical new approach to thinking and doing. It's time for inspirational leadership again.
